Hello! Huda Beauty, the world's most famous beauty influencer made the world go crazy when she launched liquid lipsticks under her brand. Having tried the Liquid Mattes, I can say that the hype was very much real and the formula was brilliant. You can read a full review on them here. The imitation industry obviously was not going to stay behind and hence they launched copies of these. Unfortunately in Pakistan, one can easily get duped as sellers deceivingly sell fakes in the name of originals. I recently came across a fake Huda Beauty Liquid Matte and decided to do a blogpost for you all.
The packaging is the real deal breaker between the fake and original lipstick. The real lipstick has been purchased from Sephora, Dubai. Below are a series of images in which I have compared the packaging of both the real and the fake liquid lipstick to help you identify the differences.
In the picture below, we can see that the lips on both the packaging is different. The original packaging has longer and fuller lips.
The font of the shade name is different on both the boxes. The real one has all the letters in caps and is smaller while the fake one has a mix of small and caps and the font is much larger in comparison.
When will look at the packaging from the side, we can see that not only is the font different, but the fake one also has the shade written on it while the real does not.
As far as the tubes are concerned, they more or less look the same. However, the applicators are different. I did not get a chance to photograph the applicators but the applicator of the fake was harder as compared to the real one.
