Batiste Dry Shampoo in Floral and Flirty - Review

Dry Shampoos are fairly less known in our country and if you want clean, oil-free hair, you need a good old shower, be it 5 times a day (LOL). But then again washing your head 5 times a day results in severe hair loss and dry hair, which no one wants also. In short, its a lose-lose situation. This is where the Batiste Dry Shampoo steps in and saves your hair! I bought the Batiste Dry Shampoo due to its immense popularity in the UK and US and because a few friends recommended it to me. The Batiste Dry Shampoo comes in a typical spray bottle with a nozzle that sprays the product out. The Batiste website recommends you to hold the bottle 30 cm from the roots of your hair and then spray. The shampoo sprays transparently, but if you over spray it leaves a white residue which can be removed by running your hands through your hair several times. I usually brush my hair first and then hold up my hair after which I spray the shampoo on my roots. I then run my hands through my hair and then shake them. The shampoo absorbs the oil within seconds. One spray is enough to remove the oils and spraying the same place several times is not recommended. This Batiste Shampoo has a floral smell which isn't too strong and doesn't last very long on the hair. The shampoo keeps my hair oil-free and light for almost the entire day.

The Batiste Dry Shampoo is definitely one of the most useful beauty products. Washing your hair everyday is not a good idea since it causes hair fall and strips the hair of their natural oils. I wash my hair four times a week and the days where my hair feel unbearably oily and heavy, I just spray this on and voila, my hair are good to go. However, on the flip side, too much use can result in residual deposit on your scalp which can lead to more hair fall. Use the shampoo properly and do not skip showers, since there is nothing better than freshly washed hair!
