With the holiday season around the corner and the tempting holiday sets seem to be on a roll, one cannot just stop themselves from getting their hands on them. Unfortunately, most of the makeup products that we lust after are not available in the Pakistani market and not everyone has relatives living abroad. So in order to fulfill our wishes and cravings, we are introduced to the world of online shopping which is extremely exciting, while being addictive.
Online shopping is quite the rage these days, as it gives great accessibility to products that are not available in our local markets. And every time a package arrives, its like giving a gift to yourself! Facebook Pages selling a variety of goods are flourishing and many people are turning to them. However, the fear of online shopping still remains and one has to be careful when sending money to an unknown person, especially since the E-Store owners ask for advance payments and not all offer Cash on Delivery (COD).
I decided that I should share all my knowledge of online shopping with you guys (and make you all makeup addicts, along with being constantly broke). I'll be listing my favourite and authentic Facebook pages and websites along with lots of tips on online shopping.

This is Pakistan's largest website for cosmetics and beauty related products. This website stocks a variety of US as well as UK Brands. The website is 100% reliable and the staff is friendly. However, the only problem with them is that their most wanted products remain out of stock for most part of the year. This includes products from Sleek and Makeup Academy (MUA), which they offer at the best prices.

- Beauty Joint
If you have a Credit Card and are willing to be a little daring then Beauty Joint in the place for you because it stocks almost all US Drugstore Brands from Wet n Wild to e.l.f to Jordana to Milani to Real Techniques and they ship worldwide. However, they take from 2 weeks - 3 months to deliver. I ordered from Beauty Joint and though it saved me loads of money, since I split the shipping with my friend, the wait was so long that I thought that my parcel was probably lost or something. Makeup and Accessories is one of the pioneer makeup selling pages in Pakistan. They are cooperative, friendly and their shipments are very prompt, which is one of reasons why I love this page. They offer the best prices in the market especially during the sales.

This is one of those pages which I knew when I first stepped into the world of makeup. The owner is definitely a sweetheart and despite my constant nagging, she has always delivered my products promptly without being rude to me once. Really enjoyed my experience with this page.

My online shopping is not limited to makeup only and I like to sometimes indulge in jewellery, sunglasses and bags etc. For that I usually refer to Stylista which has an amazing variety of jewelry available from Forever 21 to Charlotte Russe. And the best part is that it is always in stock which means you can get it within a few working days.

These pages have made life so much more exciting for me. All those products which were once out of reach for me are now delivered to my doorstep, without me even raising a finger. I'm incredibly grateful to all these page owners who are working hard to fulfill my cravings. A little note to all my readers is that one should always abide to the rules that these pages have, there are there for a reason. E.g If a page is asking for advance payment, it is perfectly normal because they also have certain limitations. They have to pay their buyers so that our products can be delivered to them. Even when you go to a shop, you pay before you get something so online shopping works the same way.
The way to get best prices is to ask several pages and then decide which price suits you the most after you add the delivery charges. Each page has different taxes and customs to pay and therefore, the prices vary.
Furthermore, another thing to do to save money is to subscribe to these pages because whenever a flash sale happens, these pages update and you can get your products at cheaper rates compared to the normal prices. Keep yourself updated with your favourite brands also so that even you know when there is a sale or offer going on.
