Summer Blushing!

Summer is all about fresh and natural makeup. I personally feel that the blush is one product which is highly undervalued in the makeup routine. A blush not only adds colour to our faces, it is also a great product to make the face look more defined and sculpted if applied properly.

Colourpop Pressed Powder Face Duo in Done Deal - Review

Colourpop has definitely been making the headlines because of their stunning new releases. Their Pressed Powders were introduced to their collection a few months ago and I was probably the first to place an order for them. Unfortunately, international shipping tends to take a while and I received this quite recently. For more details on how to ship Colourpop to Pakistan, follow this link.

Brand Focus: Wet n Wild

Wet n Wild is one of my favouritest brands ever because their products are not only amazing but they are super affordable also. Recently, Wet n Wild has upped their game even more and have started introducing products which give their high-end counterparts a run for their money. The other day when I was going through my stash, I realized that I did indeed have a lot of products from Wet n Wild, so I decided to do a brand focus post on this brand so that I could introduce all my readers to this brilliant brand.

Clinique Cheek Pop in Ginger Pop - Review

All those who know me know that I am a blush and highlighter person. But my blush obsession always takes the crown because none of my hauls are complete without a blush(or blushes). For the longest time, I thought that the Clinique Cheek Pops are cream blushes and hence I stayed away from them because I am not really a big fan of those, but when I discovered that they are powder, and after looking at all the swatches, it took a lot of strength not to order them all. After much deliberation I settled on Ginger Pop, because I wanted a subtle orange-coral and Ginger Pop seemed a lot like the colour I had in mind.

Nars Blush in Orgasm - Review

Nars Blushes are notorious in the world of makeup. And Orgasm particularly is a cult-favourite. It is loved and coveted by all for being a universally flattering shade, designed to suit all complexions. I was a bit skeptical about purchasing this because I had read at a few places that this does not show well on deeper complexions. But my wish was fulfilled when I got a free mini with my Nars order. (I love it when companies are generous in giving away minis and samples.)

No blush lover's collection is complete without a NARS Blush and given the wide range of color choices available it is extremely hard when you want to narrow it down to a single blush. the Balm Cabana Boy - Review

If there is one thing that theBalm is famous for, then it has to be their quirky packaging. Following closely behind would be their frequent 50% sitewide sales which are the best thing ever. So on one of these sales, I picked up Cabana Boy. This was my second purchase from the Balm. The first thing that I bought from them was the Mary Lou Manizer, which is like a duh because it is one of the best highlighters out there. Read on to find out how much I loved Cabana Boy.

Essence Blush Up in Heat Wave - Review

Ever year, Essence releases new makeup products which includes a limited edition blush. Last year, Essence released a similar blush, but I was not much of a makeup addict back then, so I did not buy it. When I saw pictures of Blush Up on Essence's Facebook page, it was love at first sight. The size of the blush case and the blush itself looked divine and so being the blushoholic I am, I couldn't resist it.

tarte Leave her Blushing Set of 3 Amazonian Clay Blushes - Review

Given the blushoholic that I am, its no surprise that I couldn't resist this set. tarte was a relatively new brand to me because its not very famous in our part of the world. But when I heard about these amazing beauties, I decided that they were a must have for me. I checked out the prices and a single blush costed $26 which is slightly pricey. While I was deciding while color to purchase (more like collecting money), I saw this set at the tarte website. It was love at first sight and I ordered the set immediately! Given the reviews that I had read, the expectations for these blushes were high. Read on to find out whether they fulfilled my expectations or not.
